This is surprising to me! When I was in Italy it was *not* okay to be a bigger woman. I was "lucky" not to get the catcalls that everyone else got.
I can only imagine! This is just a start though...not to mention that a plus sized model is not the same as your average plus sized woman. We can only hope that this trickles down to overall acceptance of being overweight.
