Time For Tai Chi
Here's an interesting article about the benefits of Tai Chi. It's been shown that people gained as much upper and lower body strength from doing Tai Chia as a group doing weight lifting. Not only that but it improves balance and flexibility while showing decreases in pain, anxiety and stress. This almost seems like a miracle work out. While the article admits that more testing needs to be done to back up a lot of these claims, it also says...Why not? I couldn't agree more! I think I'll make the suggestion to my gym to add a Tai Chi class to their line up.
